General description: the rosin activated core wire is also called solder core wire. This type of solder is pre-fluxed with rosin in the core, thus when using it there is no need to apply external flux. And the rosin is an activated non-corrosive neutral flux that is suitable for electronics assembly & no cleaning is required. So in most general cases, we don't need to clean the very little residue produced from solder core wire, this is best & easy to use. 

Alloy of the rosin activated core wire: tin lead alloy, solder rosin core 60 40 or 63 37. Meaning it's consisted of 60% of tin and 40% of lead, or 63% of tin & 37% of lead.

Flux: activated rosin core, no clean type

Dia of solder core wire: 0.6mm 0.8mm 1.0mm 1.2mm or any between 0.5mm up to 3mm.

Weight of rosin activated core wire: as required. But standard packing will be 100GM, 200GM, 250GM 500GM 1000GM (1kg) etc.
