General description of bernzomatic lead-free wire solder:
The bernzomatic lead-free wire solder is a major type of solder besides the bar solder, it's made of high purity of tin ingots alloy with silver and copper. It's a lead free wire solder that complies with ROHS regulation and can be used for applications where lead free solder must be used, such as home appliances that complies with ROHS, or for soldering of drinking water pipes. The lead-free wire solder is becoming more and more widely used after the implementation of ROHS regulation in year 2006.
Detailed specifications of bernzomatic lead-free wire solder:
1. Wire diameter: the bernzomatic lead-free wire solder can be made from 0.5mm to 3.2mm wire diameter. The small wire diameter is used for soldering of high precision components, while the bigger wire diameter is used for soldering of plumbings or soldering of electronics that needs a bigger solder joint.
2. Composition of bernzomatic lead-free wire solder: this wire solder can be made into 3 types of composition, one is SAC305 lead free wire solder which contains high silver at 3.0%, the best quality within the lead free wire solder family; second type is SAC0307 lead free wire solder that contains low silver at 0.3%, it's much cheaper option comparing to the SAC305, but still remains at good electrical conductivity, a budget option to replace SAC305 in some medium end application; the 3rd option is SAC07 lead free wire solder, that contains only tin and copper without silver, thus it's the most economic one out of the 3 types, due to it's budget cost, it's the mostly used wire solder in the general soldering or in the medium & low end application that needs lead free solder. All the 3 types are ROHS compliant.
3. Weight of bernzomatic lead-free wire solder: we accept to make customized weight for each roll of wire solder. Small rolls like 100g, 200g or 250g are for commercial applications that eventually will be sold through the sales channel of retails for DIY-er, Hobby-er or the repair works at home; Bigger rolls like 500g or 1000g will be the more preferred one for the industrial use, like in the manufacturing plant, so that the workers don't have to change the solder roll too frequently.
