How many types of solder available for wholesale (solder wholesale)?
Solders are available in solder wires, solder bars and solder paste. Due to solder paste is too difficult to manage shipping for export, so in XF solder we only do the solder wholesale for the solder wires and solder bars. Below we will present what solders are available for wholesale:
Solder wholesale of wires and bars: The solder wholesale can be tin lead alloy solder or lead free solder. The tin lead solder is the most widely used solder alloy and have long existence in the market. It's proven to have excellent solder-ability, wetting property and fluidity, also super electrical conductivity, and quite affordable cost. It's the major type of wholesale solder, but until lead was proven to be harmful to human health, it's banned in some applications such as prohibited to be used for soldering drinking water pipes. After the implementation of ROHS regulation, the other major solder wholesale type is the lead free solder, which doesn't contact lead and can be used to electronics or electrical appliances that require all components to the ROHS compliance.

Tin lead solder wholesale:
Solder 63/37 that is an eutectic solder alloy
Solder 60/40 that is very similar property comparing to the 63/37 type and can be used for soldering copper pipes and sheets
Solder 50/50 that contains 50% of each metal, medium quality used for tin plating, general electrical soldering.
Solder 40/60 that is an economic options of the tin lead solder wholesale, can be used for most general soldering.
Lead free solder wholesale:
Solder SAC305 that contains high silver content 3.0%, and 0.5% copper, balance is tin. It's an high end alloy suitable for high end and high precision soldering, ideal replacement to solder 63/37
Solder SAC0307 that contains low silver at 0.3%. Still keeps good electrical conductivity of the silver bearing solder.
Solder SAC07 that doesn't contain any silver, most budget cost among the lead free solder, and can be used for general purpose of solder wholesale.
