What is Lead Free Solder Bar?

Lead Free Solder Bar means that the solder bar alloy is ROHS or REACH Compliant, that doesn't contain lead. It's tin based solder, composited with other metals such as silver, copper, antimony etc.

What is lead free solder bar used for?

Lead free solder bar is majorly used for dip soldering, wave soldering of electronic manufacturing / assembly, or used for soldering of plumbing pipes, copper sheet metals etc.

What alloys are lead free solder bar available in?

1. SAC305 solder bar, the composition is Sn96.5Ag3.0Cu0.5, namely 96.5% tin, 3% silver & 0.5% copper.

2. SAC0307 solder bar, the composition is Sn99Ag0.3Cu0.7, namely 99% tin, 0.3% siver & 0.7% copper.

3. SAC0.7 solder bar, the composition is Sn99.3Cu0.7, namely 99.3% tin, 0.7% copper.
