What is sac305 solder wire

Sac305 solder wire is a lead free type solder, that is consisted of 96.5% of tin, 3% of silver, 0.5% of copper, it's also known as Sn96.5Ag3.0Cu0.5. This alloy is ROHS & REACH compliant, it can be used for soldering applications that requires such lead free compliance.

 

Why do we use sac305 solder wire?

The sac305 solder wire contains high percentage of silver, and adding silver to the process of soldering helps produce smooth, leak-tight, electrically conductive and corrosion-resistant joints, thus making it very suitable to be used for high precision, high quality requirement applications.

Basic information sac305 solder wire:

Wire diameter: from 0.2mm up to 3.2mm.

Weight per roll: from 50g per roll up to 1000g per roll

Flux: 2.2% rosin flux as standard

Applications: for electronic soldering or jewlry soldering.
