What is a core wire solder?

Core wire solder is a type of solder that cast into wire and winded into a small coil, this type of solder is with a flux core (pre fluxed core). If we see from the cut section of the wire, we can noticed a small white spot, that's the rosin based flux core. This core wire solder is a 2 in 1 choice, it combines solder and flux in one same product, thus users no need to apply any external flux in separate, it's handy & easy to use.

Basic data of the core wire solder:

Alloy: Lead free core wire solder (Sn96.5Ag3.0Cu0.5, Sn99Ag0.3Cu0.7, Sn99.3Cu0.7) etc, tin lead core wire solder (Sn63Pb37, Sn60Pb40, Sn50Pb50, Sn40Pb60) etc.

Core: rosin flux core at 2% to 2.2% as standard. 3% of flux can be made upon request.

Wire diameter: from 0.2mm to 3.2mm

Weight per coil: 50g/coil, 100g/coil, 200g/coil, 500g/coil, 1000g/coil etc
