The China 500g 1mm 2mm Solder Wire 60 40 Manufacturer is a tin lead solder alloy which contains 60% of tin and 40% of lead, it's also know as China solder wire Sn60Pb40. And this solder 60/40 is available with either rosin flux core or without rosin flux (solid core solder wire 60/40). It's up to the final applications to decide if you would need a flux cored solder wire or solid core wire.

Applications of China 500g 1mm 2mm Solder Wire 60 40 Manufacturer with rosin flux core:
in XF Solder factory we use a no clean rosin flux core at nominal 2.0% to make the solder wire 60/40, this type of rosin flux leaves very little, transparent, non-aggressive residue that requires no cleaning after soldering. This is ideal for soldering of electronic devices and other machines etc. And in Europe plumbers also use wire diameter 1.6mm solder wire 60/40, 3mm solder wire 60/40 or 3.2mm 60/40 solder wire to solder the plumbings (between copper pipes and the copper fittings). For this type of China solder wire 60/40 that already comes with flux core, there is no need to apply external flux during soldering. But for the soldering of plumbing, a bit of extra external flux is required for better flowing of the solder to fill up the gap of the joint.

This solid core is used soldering done by automatic soldering robots, in the automatic soldering process it's difficult to clean the residue of flux in case if needed, unlike manual soldering which is very flexible, so for automatic soldering generally a solid core China solder wire 60/40 is more preferred. And solid core solder wire 60/40 is more suitable for plumbing soldering compared to flux cored ones.
