China Tin Wires
Tin Wires
What are tin wires?
Tin wires are actually a soft soldering material, it's tin based alloy combined with other metals such as lead, silver, copper, antimony etc. The material is just as its name, made into a wire / coil form like below photo.
What are tin wires used for?
Tin wires are used for soldering of electronic products (to joint different ICs or ICs onto the PCB), and used for soldering (joinery) of metals such as plumbing copper pipies, stain glass assembly etc.
Other basic informations of tin wires:
1. Wire diameter: from 0.2mm up to 3.2mm. It pretty much depends on the applications and what you will need to solder. For electronic soldering, wire diameter 0.8mm to 1.2mm tin wires are most frequently used. If it's used for stained glass or plumbing, bigger wire diameter such as 1.6mm, 2.7mm, 3.2mm would be more preferred.
2. Weight per roll: 50g to 1000g/roll are the mostly seen in the market. If for re-selling purpose, generally the tin wires are made into small spool, but for manufacturing factory, they would prefer 500g or 1000g/roll. While some factories producing radiators, they will prefer big spools of 5kgs/roll, or 10kgs/roll etc.
